Picture of King kidsMy wife, Carie, and I have two young children, Ellie (3) and Milo (1).  We are starting our fourth year in Upland and enjoy the opportunity to live near campus, interacting with students outside of the classroom.  

 

Research Interests

  • Plant Pathogenesis: studying the interaction between pathogenic polygalactronases and plant defense polygalacturonase inhibitor proteins
  • Method development of novel techniques for studying the Structure-Function relationship of proteins
  • Creating and optimizing computational models of protein
