Internships

An internship with an appropriate organization is required for Sport Management and Exercise Science majors. Taylor students have completed internships with such groups as:
  • Pacers Sports & Entertainment
  • U.S. Olympic Training Center in San Diego, CA
  • The Toledo Mudhens AAA baseball team
  • The Michigan State Athletic Department
  • Lifetime Fitness
  • Healthplex
  • The University of Nebraska Athletic Department

Health and Physical Education majors participate in field experiences every year, and in student teaching in the senior year. These experiences allow the student to observe effective teaching methods and to apply the concepts that are learned.
