Biology majors who graduate with a BA or BS degree in biology have a wide range of opportunities in which to use their degree. Some of these opportunities require further education (see acceptance to graduate and professional programs below).
- The majority of our graduates go into health professions which require graduate school training.
- In the past 20 years, 90% of majors with a MCAT score of at least 29 and a GPA of 3.6 or higher have gained acceptance into medical or dental school.
- 100% of Science Education majors who have applied for jobs have received teaching positions.
