- Alpha Pi Iota Club (Premedical)

Taylor's Alpha Pi Iota (API) Club offers support and encouragement to students interested in all health-related fields with a particular emphasis on premedical students. Three established majors offer pre-medical tracks; Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. Dr. Jeff Regier acts as faculty advisor to API.
API sponsors guest lecturers who speak on a variety of topics including bioethics, medical missions, the medical admissions process and women in the medical field.
API also attempts to provide students with exposure to the medical field through personal interaction with healthcare professionals, promotion of a yearly health conference, various trips to medical clinics and assistance in finding internships.
In addition, Taylor University and API supports preparation for medical school admission by hosting the Kaplan MCAT preparation course.
