Traveling South African Art Exhibit Comes to Taylor Next WeekPublished: Oct 25, 2017
A traveling South African art exhibit will be hosted on the Taylor University campus beginning next week. Between the Shadow & the Light, will be displayed in the Metcalf Gallery of the Modelle Metcalf Art Building on the Taylor campus from November 1-December 8.
Featured artists Margaret Allotey-Pappoe, Keith Barker, and Jo-AnnVanReeuwyk will attend a reception and present an artist's panel discussion on Friday, November 10. The scheduled events for the day include:
5:00 – 6:45 pm Reception with the artists in Metcalf Gallery featuring African-themed food and music by the Jungle Cats Jazz Combo
6:45 – 7:45 pm Artist Panel Discussion with Q&A in the Butz-Carruth Recital Hall
7:45 – 9:00 pm Reception Continues back in the Metcalf Gallery
