Taylor University’s annual Taylathon bike races are scheduled for Saturday, September 29, at 10 am. The event pits Taylor’s senior, junior, sophomore, and freshman classes against each other in two races—the first at 10 am, featuring teams of female riders, and the second at 11, featuring teams of male riders.

Sponsored by Taylor’s Interclass Council (ICC), Taylathon will be run over a sidewalk course through the heart of campus with the start/finish line between the Reade Liberal Arts Center and the Euler Science Complex.

The race was an annual spring tradition on the Taylor campus for many years until the construction of the Boren Campus Center several years ago mandated scheduling changes in several events, one of which included Taylathon. The race is now held on the final Saturday in the month of September.

Weather conditions are expected to be partly sunny with temperatures in the mid-50s to low-60s at race time.
