Taylor Art Professor’s Work Selected for Travelling Exhibit.

Zoo of Lusts by Jeremie Riggleman

A piece created by Taylor University Art Department faculty member and artist Jeremie Riggleman, has been selected for a inclusion in a traveling exhibit.

Riggleman’s piece, Zoo of Lusts, and will travel with The Beautiful, a display consisting of more than 35 contemporary pieces of art in varying medias and genres, created by Christians in the Visual Arts (CIVA). The artwork will be juried by Mary McCleary, a long-time CIVA member and contemporary artist currently living in Nacogdoches, Texas. The exhibit will open at Calvin College’s Center Gallery on January 26, 2018.

Riggleman joined the Taylor’s art faculty this fall as a 3D art professor.

CIVA (or Christians in the Visual Arts) is an organization with a vision to help artists, collectors, critics, professors, historians, pastors and art professionals explore the relationship between art and faith.
