A partnership between Taylor University’s Art Department and Taylor World Outreach will raise funds for the Shepherd Community Center in Indianapolis.

Empty Bowls is an annual soup cook-off by members of the Taylor community. The chili and soup recipes are served in bowls created by Taylor art students.

According to Lauren Carter of Taylor World Outreach, the event will also include information about hunger-related issues facing the State of Indiana.

Empty Bowls is Wednesday, November 16, 5:30–7 pm, in Alspaugh East and West at the Hodson Dining Commons.
