Crosscurrents in Contemporary Abstraction on Display in Metcalf Gallery

Seven of the most dynamic and diverse contemporary abstract artists in the United States are exhibiting their work in Taylor's Metcalf Gallery until February 7.

They include: Corey Antis, Hannah Barnes, Katherine Bradford, Jennifer Moses, Jill Nathanson, Linnea Spransy, and Dan Sutherland.

Notably, Katherine Bradford is a veteran New York painter who has been awarded a Guggenheim fellowship. Celebrated artist Linnea Spransy will be speaking in chapel Wednesday, February 5, on the intersection of art and faith.

A closing reception will be held later that day at 6:00 P.M., with guest lecturers Linnea Spransy, Hannah Barnes, and Corey Antis. Refreshments will follow. The public is invited.
