Art has been a central piece of society in every culture throughout history. Learn how Christian and secular artists have shaped our world and influenced our perceptions of beauty and visual communication.
The Art History curriculum focuses on the histories of Western, Asian, and contemporary art, as well as Christianity and art, photography, and graphic art. You will develop your understanding and appreciation for global art across time and expand your ability to apply unique historical styles to your own work. Recommended majors include Art Education, Graphic Art, Studio Art, and Pre-Art Therapy.
Open to all majors. Graphic Art, Studio Art, Art Education, and Pre-Art Therapy majors may not overlap more than 50% of major requirements with this minor.

The Foundational Core classes will give you a big-picture view of how your calling connects with God's purpose for your life, engaging with ideas that will demonstrate how God has given you certain talents and skills to bring healing to the world. You’ll become a well-versed individual, equipped with critical thinking skills, a lifelong love of learning, and an appreciation for God's creation.
