Career/Study Opportunities

As the higher education industry has assumed greater national importance, the need for qualified, trained support staff has increased in proportion. Today, there are nearly 3.5 million educational employees at US colleges–and nearly 2 million of those are in “non-instructional” positions.

MAHE graduates have been accepted for employment and/or doctoral studies at Harvard University, the University of Michigan, Indiana University, Michigan State University, Notre Dame, and Penn State. Today, Taylor graduates find success nationally and internationally.

Impact on Taylor’s Campus

Since 2007, the Master of Arts in Higher Education program has helped shape institutional operations and enhance community life at Taylor University, and has also become a critical ingredient of the unique brand of whole-person education for which Taylor is so well-known. The MAHE graduate program student retention rate is 95 percent, demonstrating that the institution is invested in students’ successful completion of the program.

Career Success

Nearly 100 percent of MAHE graduates are currently or previously employed at nearly 100 colleges and universities, including public and private liberal arts and research universities, community colleges and Ivy League academies throughout the United States.

In harmony with the global vision of the Great Commission, Taylor graduates have worked or are working in international higher education positions in Belize, Ireland, Korea, Lithuania, Switzerland, and other countries.
