My family immigrated to Wisconsin from Ontario, Canada, when I was in grade school. I attended Taylor as a Canadian citizen and became a naturalized American citizen following my graduation in 2002. These experiences, coupled with both international travel opportunities and the rich diverse cultural lifestyle of living in Milwaukee as an adult, have formed in my heart a deep love for being a part of intercultural community. My teaching degree from Taylor provided the pathway for me to teach students in many different situations and at all grade levels. While teaching at a local Christian school, an office secretary position became available, and in that role I found that I love assisting with administrative work. I am so thankful that my role at Taylor combines my love for administrative assistant work with my passion for intercultural community.
