After over four years in Scotland, my husband and I found ourselves called back to the cornfields where we first met for him to take the role of Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Religion here at Taylor University. So, in the fall of 2020, we packed up and moved with our two sons, Everett (4) and Duncan (3).
It was at Taylor University that I started both my academic and vocational journey back in 2008, and after working in the fields of study abroad, publicity, and program management, I am delighted to dive into life alongside the 280+ women of Olson Hall.
I love spending time outdoors, all forms of literature--from the classics to sci-fi--and a good cup of coffee.
To incoming freshmen, I would challenge you to look beyond yourself even as you grow in your awareness of your own calling and belovedness by God during these next four years. It can be easy to get caught up in the busyness of university life, but there are always those who need to be seen and parts of yourself that can be overlooked if not given the time and space.
