About

After graduating from Taylor in 1993, Sara taught high school English for 16 years and served as a TU adjunct instructor for 6 years. Since her two sons are both Taylor students (Ian '25 and Owen '26), she enjoys serving fellow TU parents by helping them feel informed and supported. She hopes students and families can learn to navigate the college years together, knowing it is a time of adjustment and growth for all. One of her favorite parts of working on campus is seeing students embrace all the activities this unique community has to offer. Sara loves running, yoga, conversations over coffee, and attending live theater as much as possible. She and her husband Lance ('90) live in Greentown.

Responsibilities

Providing information for and building relationships with parents of current Taylor students by maintaining communication and by planning events that involve families. (Parents Council, Welcome Weekend, Homecoming and Family Weekend, Grandparents Day, etc.)
