Career Highlights

Nicole has taught a variety of legal courses for almost two decades, including Business Law, Legal Writing, Family Law, Contract & Commercial Law, Wills, Trusts, and Estates, Property Law, Litigation, Introduction to Law, and Criminal Law & Procedure. She received the 2011-2012 Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Member Award for the School of Public & Social Services at Ivy Tech Community College.

Nicole is licensed to practice law in Indiana and Washington state, and is a member of the Grant County Bar Association. She is an experienced elder law practitioner and worked in the dependency and corporate law fields prior to teaching. She has also served as a Guardian Ad Litem.

About

Nicole is married to Jason McVicker. They have two children, Addison and Austin, who share a birthday one year apart to the day. Nicole was the 1993 Indiana State Fair Queen and enjoys judging county queen pageants and helping mentor in the 4-H program. She especially enjoys spending time with her family.
