Career Accomplishments

• Taught over 50 different university classes in electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science, and physics
• Supervised multiple undergraduate research projects and took students to national conferences
• Developed several new majors and minors and many new courses
• Served as a department chair (12 years), college faculty chair, and as chair for multiple university committees
• Taught English as a second language as a volunteer in China, Mongolia, Laos, and Iraq

About

I've been involved in education my entire career and am still excited about teaching, mentoring, and learning from undergraduates. Barb and I have been married for over 30 years, enjoying church activities and travel. We've lived in Indiana most of our lives. I also enjoy teaching English as a second language internationally as well as collecting coins.
