I have presented my research at national and regional conferences, including the American Political Science Association (APSA) Annual Meeting, the Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA) Annual Conference, the International Studies Association (ISA) Annual Convention, the ISA Midwest Conference, and UNT Research Day. My research has also been published in International Interactions and Asian Survey.

I was born and raised in a coastal city called Yantai, which is well known for its apples and wine. I spent 10 years in Texas completing my education. Outside of work, I enjoy reading historical anecdotes and cooking at home.
