International Admissions Counselor
I am super excited to work with international students, missionary kids, and third-culture kids from all over the world and from all walks of life through admissions!
Some of my most precious friends in both high school and college were international students. Being an admissions counselor for this specific group is such a gift, as I have the opportunity to further connect international students with the American higher education system and its domestic students (to make long-lasting friends like me!). Taylor's Multicultural Philosophy Statement mentions honoring and celebrating people from all ethnic, racial, cultural, socioeconomic, and national backgrounds. I strive to emphasize the efforts in Taylor's statement through my work and my relationships with all students.
I was fortunate to spend both undergraduate and graduate years at Taylor. Taylor did so much for me through education and forming friendships, but it was especially impactful on my relationship with Christ. In addition to my admissions work, I also have the pleasure of teaching in Taylor's English as a Second Language program and International Prospect Camp, where I have been blessed continuously by students as they learn English on campus.
I am honored to work with students and their families as they consider Taylor as their home for the next few years. It is a big decision to go to college, especially one outside of your home country! I want to help make this decision easier by providing ample support with God's guidance.
Please reach out to me for any questions, guidance, or prayer!
