Paul & Barbara Gentile Hall
Director of Off-Campus Programs and Assistant Director of the Spencer Center for Global Engagement
I am passionate about helping students discover transformative learning experiences beyond the classroom. As a firm believer in the power of experiential education, being committed to global learning is deeply personal. My own study abroad experience at 18 years old in Pikermi, Greece, before transferring into Taylor University as a student was not only a defining chapter in my life, but it changed my professional trajectory.
Through cultural immersions in over 40 different countries, each time I travel, I gain a broader worldview, develop a deeper understanding of myself and others, increase my own curiosity and pursuit of Jesus, and experience growth that ultimately influences my entire being. Learning about and serving the world around us will help all of us to step outside our comfort zones and discover how cross-cultural experiences can expand our perspectives and prepare us for lives of purpose and service. I'm excited to return to TU to collaboratively work with students, faculty, and community partners creating these types of opportunities!
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring my love of the culinary arts, spending time outdoors, watching a good reality TV show, attempting to garden, cheering on the Chicago Cubs and exploring new places both near and far. I can often be found attending cultural festivals, trying new recipes, celebrating victories both big and small with friends, or making memories with family. I am actively involved in my church community in Indianapolis, which is where I proudly call home.
