Career Highlights

I’m a writer and narrative filmmaker who is passionate about redemptive storytelling. I love encouraging students in the art of narrative filmmaking and writing short films. More than 60 of my short stories have been published in online magazines and print anthologies. I have adapted two of these stories into short films that have screened in film festivals across the United States, Australia, and Europe. I am currently working toward completing an MFA from Maine Media College with a focus in digital media arts.

Featured Work

Some of my recent career highlights include completion of a short film based off my experiences playing college baseball. My Western short film "Dark Side of the Moon" is currently in its film festival run, screening at more than 15 festivals including the iconic Almería Western Film Festival in Tabernas, Spain and the Northern Lights Fantastic Film Festival in Akureyri, Iceland.

Biography

I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a member of the baseball team while studying at Taylor University, helping lead the Trojans to a Crossroads League Conference Championship in 2016. When I’m not working, helping students, or making films, I enjoy spending time with my wife Gabby and exploring the American West.
