Career Highlights

Prior to joining Taylor University in 2015, I spent over 18 years in manufacturing in various roles for both the food and auto industries.

I have taught at Purdue University, Indiana University, Huntington University, Indiana Wesleyan University, and LCC International University. My teaching experience includes traditional, hybrid, and online formats.

I have professional memberships in the following organizations: Academy of Management, American Society for Engineering Education, Association of Talent Development, Christian Business Faculty Association, International Leadership Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management. I have also served within these organizations in various officer roles, and as a conference paper and award reviewer.

I currently serve as the faculty advisor for the SHRM Student Chapter here at Taylor, which is an official student chapter affiliated with the national organization of the Society of Human Resource Management. I also am the Taylor Institutional Review Board (IRB) Committee Chair.

I am privileged to be the recipient of several faculty grants through the years at Taylor including course redesigns and new design curriculum grants. I was also honored to receive a grant from the Women's Giving Circle, which helped us form our SHRM student chapter here at Taylor.

Biography

In my free time I enjoy walking, cooking, reading, and traveling including 49 of the 50 US States as well as internationally. I also enjoy spending time with my two sons at either sporting events or car shows. Both myself and my family regularly serve in our local church and community with various non-profits.
