Career Highlights
Teaching Reading Intervention and Reading Recovery gave me the opportunity to see students with reading challenges succeed!
My years working with children in ministry and individually through reading intervention were a joy! Being a part of children growing in Christ was a privilege, and sitting with students as they realized they could succeed in something hard like reading was an honor.
Biography
I worked in public education from 2000-2017 in various areas. I had opportunities to work in Kindergarten through 3rd grade, Reading Intervention, Title I administrator, High Ability Coordinator, and Curriculum and Instruction Director. Over the last four years, I was privileged to lead the children's ministry at our church.
Hobbies
My husband and I have five children and we love watching them use their God-given talents and gifts in sports and activities. I love to exercise, read, and travel to new places with friends and family.
