Advice for Incoming Freshmen

Embrace both roles you will have here at Taylor. Embrace your role as a full-time student. Embrace your role as a part-time professional (read: Graduate Assistant). Together they are a powerful combination to form you as a person and prepare you to flourish in higher education.

Why I Came to Taylor

I came to Taylor because here you find the good life in abundance. While at times frustrating to be far from a city, you are removed from many of the distractions that impede learning. Here you have a vibrant, supportive, and challenging community that will stretch your faith, your heart, and your mind.

Hobbies

Drew enjoys coaching his kids’ sports teams, home improvement, and fitness.

Drew is lead editor of Scholarship Reconsidered & Campus Life: In Search of Community. He is co-author of Ready or Not: Leaning Into Life in Our Twenties and author of The Enneagram of Discernment: The Way of Vocation, Wisdom, & Practice.
