Biography

Advice to Incoming Freshmen

Try to get a breadth of experiences at Taylor in academics, extracurricular activities, friendships/relationships, and ministry. Get involved and get to know your professors. Seek to grow deeper in your faith.

Why I Came to Taylor

I desired to teach in a Christ-centered institution and was familiar with Taylor because my brother was a student here. I enjoy teaching college students as they define who they are and make their faith their own.

Hobbies

Spending time with family, traveling, gardening, camping, sports, and training/walking our dog

Major Career Accomplishments

Dr. Diane Dungan has created and executed a semester-long, inner-city practicum experience in Muncie. She has taken several different groups of students to present original research at the American Psychological Association Annual Convention. Dungan, Dr. Joe Lund, and five students are involved in an on-going research project on the topic “what teenagers who have diabetes post on You Tube.” It is a descriptive or naturalistic study that is looking at what they post, and what is reflected in the topics they care to reveal to this unseen though quite public audience.
