Career Accomplishments

• In 2025, my book on Richard of St Victor's argument for the Trinity from love was published, Nichil melius, nichil perfectius (Nothing sweeter, nothing more perfect).
• My next book, What is Beauty?, is an introduction to aesthetics and is scheduled for publication with IVP in 2026.

About

Originally from Central California, I have traded the corn and cotton fields of my home for the corn and soy fields of my new home in Upland! I move to Taylor with my wife Charisma and my sons Peri and Ames. We come here from across the pond in St Andrews, Scotland, where we lived for eight years while I studied and taught. Before that I taught at Biola in Southern California.

Theology—like many things—is best done in community. I can't imagine a group of people who demonstrate more warmth and excitement than that of Taylor. It's a joy to come learn with and from the Taylor community. And if I can get in a game of Warhammer or Magic the Gathering, so much the better!
