Major career accomplishments
Dr. David Deviney is a tenured faculty member and former department head at Tarleton State University in Texas where he has been mentoring and teaching students for the past ten years. During his time at Tarleton State, Dr. Deviney began the first departmental online masters program and authored several online courses. With over 35 years of work experience in change management, quality management, management system design and human resource management, Dr. Deviney authored two books, Outstanding Customer Service: The Key to Customer Loyalty and The Behavior-based Safety Process: Management Involvement for an Injury-free Culture. Dr. Deviney owns his own consulting practice, David Deviney and Associates, and is a member of the local Southern Baptist church where he teaches seminars and adult classes. He has also co-authored a training series for churches titled Repurposing the Church.

He is the co-author of Creating Winning Business Plans, Author House © 2005 with Steve Franks He has authored two books in a series of guide books - Strategies for Advancing Your Organization and Yourself and Business Creativity & Innovation. He is also a co-author with three other writers of a book released in May 2010 entitled, “Best Practices in Action: Guidelines for Implementing First-Class Business Incubation Programs.” Outside of his professional affiliations, his main passion and interests are education, health care, and technology. He has been an associate faculty member in the MBA program at IPFW (School of Business and Management Sciences)
