Welcome Weekend

August 16-18, 2020

Welcome Weekend is the beginning of many Taylor traditions. Along with Taylor’s First-Year Experience* program, Welcome Weekend can help you meet new friends, make the transition academically, and provide opportunities for you to know yourself and God in a deeper way.

As we all have observed over the past few months, COVID-19 has disrupted many of our normal routines as we seek to mitigate the spread of the disease. In seeking to keep Taylor University employees and students safe, we have sought to make changes that would have the best opportunity for safety while maintaining the heart of our spiritual and educational mission. For the fall 2020 semester, we have adapted the new schedule in order to cut down on travel away from campus through the regular semester schedule, and in case there is a second wave of COVID-19 outbreaks this winter.

With a new start date for classes of Wednesday, August 19, Welcome Weekend for incoming students will now be Sunday, August 16 to Tuesday, August 18.

Information on safety guidelines will be updated as we receive guidance from the Indiana state government and local health officials. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this unprecedented time together.
