In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, federal law mandates that all transcript requests bear the written signature of the student as authorization to release academic transcript information.
Taylor University provides transcripts as a free service. All official transcript requests are approved by the Office of the Bursar, as financial accounts must be current for transcripts to be released.
Transcript information can be faxed or emailed directly to educational institutions and businesses. These transcript copies, however, are considered unofficial.
For questions regarding transcript information or to check the status of your transcript request, please call (765) 998-5129.
Please note that transcripts will be unavailable during weekends, several holidays, and other times when the University is closed. Students should make arrangements for transcripts to be sent prior to the closing of offices, including the University’s closing of offices from the day(s) prior to Christmas to the day(s) after New Year’s. Reasonable notice (at least 24 hours) should be given to the Office of the Registrar to ensure adequate time to process requests prior to office closings.
