Admission Requirements

The following items are required to be accepted into the Master of Education in Special Education program:

• A minimum 3.0 GPA is required for admission; those below this level will be considered.
• Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Application

1. Apply to the Master’s Degree in Education in Special Education (M.Ed. in Special Education) program by completing the online application.
2. Resumé
   Upload your resumé during the online application.
3. Transcripts
   Request an official electronic copy of your undergraduate and graduate institutions to Lyn Kline at: [email protected].
4. References
   Submit email addresses for two references (employment or academic).
5. Background Check
   Complete a criminal background check (within the last 12 months).

International students

Please submit an original collegiate writing sample, a transcript evaluation by World Education Services (WES), and a completed Affidavit of Support form.

Admissions Interview

We will schedule a virtual admissions interview with you after your application is submitted and all of the required documents are received.
