KSAC Fitness Center
Taylor’s Kesler Student Activities Center (KSAC) provides an outstanding venue for the physical side of whole-person development. The KSAC is one of the finest recreational centers in the area. Its four main features—The Well, fieldhouse, Eichling Aquatics Wing and the aerobics room—offer Taylor University and the surrounding community an excellent outlet for physical activity and leisurely recreation. With great equipment and facilities, the KSAC meets students’ needs for a range of everything from recreational to intensive physical activity. It offers space for casual games and personal fitness goals, while also allowing athletic teams to pursue excellence in practice and training year-round.
The Well is a state-of-the-art fitness center equipped to optimize the fitness level of our students, administration, faculty, staff and the surrounding communities. The Well's exercise equipment includes exercise bikes, ellipticals, treadmills, free weights and weight lifting machines.
The fieldhouse contains four regulation size basketball courts surrounded by a 200-meter track lined for competitive use. The track is compliant with competitive intercollegiate regulations, containing regulation sprint lanes, pole vault capability, and a long jump pit.
The Eichling Aquatics Wing contains a two-lane lap pool, two changing rooms, a Human Performance Lab, six faculty offices and two large classrooms. Students can use the pool for athletic training, swimming classes, lifeguard training, water aerobics and water safety instructor courses. The pool is also used for rehabilitation purposes.
The Aerobics Room is designed for optimal use by the Taylor University student population and community members. The wooden floor and mirrored wall offer an inviting user-friendly atmosphere for quality group aerobic exercise. The two televisions and sound system in the room make it a great space to hold professional aerobics and exercise classes.
