Taylor Students Perform International, Local Spring Break Ministry

By Jim Garringer Published: Mar 25, 2013

Approximately 100 Taylor University students will spend the coming week in several locations throughout the United States and also in international destinations performing ministry and evangelistic services as part of the annual Spring Break.

The locations include:

  • Daytona
  • Dominican Republic
  • El Salvador
  • Grant County
  • Honduras
  • Indianapolis
  • Mexico
  • Spain

The Grant County and Indianapolis efforts continue a more recent tradition of having students serve the communities that make up Taylor’s neighbors.

Spring Break Missions serves to enable students to learn, minister, and witness during their annual spring break. International and domestic projects are designed for students to use their gifts and talents in meeting spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of others through various methods which include one-on-one evangelism, children's ministry, teaching ESL, manual labor, and the performing arts.

Taylor University strives for excellence in all international service-learning programs and is an accredited member of the Standards of Excellence in Short-Term Mission initiative.
