Four Films to Screen at Envision Win Professional AwardsPublished: Feb 20, 2013
All four films from Taylor's Narrative Filmmaking class of spring 2012 have now been recognized with Gold Aurora Awards. The Aurora Awards are an independent film and video competition.
"This is an exciting achievement for the students," said John Bruner, assistant professor of media communication. "It's remarkable that every member of the class has now earned a professional award for their resume."
The class produced the dark comedy Psychopomp, a Depression-era drama called Stranger, a comedy about a germaphobe called The Great Indoors and a crime drama called The Replacement. All four films will screen at this year's Envision Film Festival on March 1st at 7pm in Rediger Auditorium.
