A new record of 39 teams and 155 golfers, along with over 40 corporate sponsors turned out for the event to benefit Taylor's student-athletes.

The NAIA recently launched a new Web site for the new NAIA Eligibility Center. The NAIA Eligibility Center is responsible for determining the eligibility of first-time NAIA student-athletes and will begin taking registrations this September for any student interested in playing NAIA sports for the first-time in 2011-12 or after.

The Taylor University athletic department has announced the signing of Christie Dithrich with the Lady Trojans soccer program. The 2010 graduate of Wheaton Academy in West Chicago, Illinois brings to five the number of recruits for head coach Scott Stan's fall of 2010 recruiting class.
