The Taylor softball Trojans split a doubleheader with NCAA Division II opponent St. Joseph's College on Thursday. Taylor improves to 4-2 on the season.

A five-run second inning helped deliver Taylor its seventh straight win as the Trojans defeated Defiance (Ohio) 7-2 at home Wednesday afternoon.

03.16.2010 - Luna's Home Run Spurs Trojans to Sweep

Taylor Luna hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give Taylor a 2-1 win in the opening game of a doubleheader with Manchester (Ind.) Tuesday afternoon. The Trojans completed a sweep of the Spartans by winning 10-2 in the finale.

The Trojan golf team was not able to play on Saturday due to inclement weather, but came home with a third place finish in the Big Blue Spring Opener based on Friday's scores.

The Taylor golf team stands third after the first day of the ten-team Millikin Spring Open. The Trojans shot a combined 315, just six shots back of leader, Millikin.

Playing in the opening round of the NAIA DII Women's Basketball National Championship in Sioux City, Iowa, the Taylor women's basketball team had its season end Thursday at the hands of second-seeded Cedarville by a final score of 75-50.

03.09.2010 - Trojans Beat Anderson 6-2 in Home Opener

Chris Howell struck out five batters and gave up just two earned runs in six innings on the mound to give Taylor a 6-2 win in its home opener over Anderson in front of a standing room only crowd in Upland on Tuesday afternoon.

Taylor basketball alums and current Ohio University basketball coaches John Groce and Chris Holtmann secured their first trip to the NCAA Tournament when the Bobcats defeated Akron 71-65 in the Mid-American Conference Tournament championship game.

Men's head soccer coach Gary Ross has announced the signing of the freshman class for the 2010 season. The group includes two students from Illinois, two from Minnesota, and one each from Ohio, Texas, and Michigan.
