The Taylor men's basketball team held Andrews (Mich.) to 32% shooting Thursday as the Trojans improved to 4-1 on the season with a 55-33 victory over the Cardinals.

In an incredible end to a turnaround season, the 25th-ranked Taylor Trojans defeated the 11th ranked St. Francis Cougars 23-16 on Saturday afternoon. The Trojans put nine points on the board in the second half and kept the USF offense out of the end zone during the second half to notch the victory.

The women's basketball team (2-1) relied upon their defense to limit host Cornerstone to just 28% shooting from the field on their way to a 58-51 victory in Grand Rapids on Saturday afternoon.

The men's basketball team felt the sting of defeat for the first time this season as they lost in the final of the Bevo Francis Tournament to host Rio Grande, 75-57.

Four players scored in double figures for the Taylor men's basketball team as the Trojans won their first road game of the season over Union (Ky.) by a final score of 72-63 Friday at the Bevo Francis Classic in Rio Grande, Ohio.

The No. 16 Taylor volleyball team made quick work of Spring Arbor Thursday night by defeating the Cougars 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-18) in the semifinal round of the Mid-Central College Conference Tournament.
