Opportunities Outside of the Classroom and Theatre Performances
Touring Company The Taylor Touring Company exists for two primary reasons: training and ministry. We have the unique opportunity each fall to produce a new play with a local playwright. We commit to touring that show for at least nine months, traveling to churches, schools and businesses to present the show. It is a great experience for you because of the challenge to maintain characters and story for that long. Each student takes responsibility for a technical aspect of the show and learns the ins and outs of touring a production on a small scale. It also provides a unique opportunity for us to apply theatre to the Word of God, as we perform our work in churches and schools all over the world. The Company has toured since 2007.

Study Abroad Programs and Opportunities
As a Taylor student, you will have many opportunities to make a global impact through mission trips or study abroad. A specific overseas program is the Australia Studies Program, which focuses on the arts and performance. You could spend a semester in beautiful Sydney, Australia, honing your craft with professional instructors who share a Christian worldview.
