Lighthouse

Since 1972, Taylor’s Lighthouse program has enabled students to gain unforgettable, life-changing experiences during Interterm studying and serving cross-culturally around the world.  Teams are recruited in the spring, prepare in the fall, and serve in January.  Lighthouse is an exciting way to engage another culture while making a difference.

Lighthouse teams take a fall course (one credit) in cross-cultural ministry and team building to prepare for the field experience.  In January, students earn three cross-cultural credits while they engage in service projects, compassionate ministries, community development, teaching English, performing arts, leadership development, evangelism, discipleship, and more under the direction of faculty sponsors and international hosts.
