Welcome to Taylor University's physics department. The physics program at Taylor University enables students to explore the realm of physics from a Christian perspective and encourages them to think critically about the natural world and the properties that make it function.

The physics department's purpose is to provide an educational experience within a Christian context that equips students with the ability to obtain knowledge and understanding about the physical world for use in research, graduate studies and careers, and to positively impact society. The physics department offers instruction in physics, astronomy, engineering and physical science. Space physics, theoretical high energy physics, acoustics, advanced engineering instrumentation and microelectronics comprise the major research interests in the department.
