Overview
The Math Department of Taylor University is committed to preparing competent, caring and creative problem solvers for world service and life-long learning. Students and faculty interact in a dynamic community that expands beyond academics and enriches the students' spiritual development as well.
Students may participate in a wide variety of activities, including the Honors Program, Math Club, summer research and state math competitions. The Taylor Math Lab features extensive resources that facilitate the progressive, student-centered, hands-on teaching approach.

Taking the math proficiency test? Use our math proficiency review sheet to prepare.
To read the sheet, you'll need to:
- Visit our Blackboard system.
- Login with your username (firstname_lastname)
- Your password will be the last four digits of your Social Security number.
- Click on the link "AA133-Math Proficiency Review (2006)" under My Courses.
- Click on 'Review Sheets' button on the left of the page and then select Basic Skills Test Review or Basic Algebra Test Review.
You may need a recent version of the appropriate software for items to load properly on your computer.
