Overview

The Math Department of Taylor University is committed to preparing competent, caring and creative problem solvers for world service and life-long learning. Students and faculty interact in a dynamic community that expands beyond academics and enriches the students' spiritual development as well.

Students may participate in a wide variety of activities, including the Honors Program, Math Club, summer research and state math competitions. The Taylor Math Lab features extensive resources that facilitate the progressive, student-centered, hands-on teaching approach.

Taking the math proficiency test? Use our math proficiency review sheet to prepare.

To read the sheet, you'll need to:

  1. Visit our Blackboard system.
  2. Login with your username (firstname_lastname)
  3. Your password will be the last four digits of your Social Security number.
  4. Click on the link "AA133-Math Proficiency Review (2006)" under My Courses.
  5. Click on 'Review Sheets' button on the left of the page and then select Basic Skills Test Review or Basic Algebra Test Review.

You may need a recent version of the appropriate software for items to load properly on your computer.
