Personal Information
Kathy Bruner is an assistant professor in Media Communication and the co-chair of the Media Communication program. She teaches Media, Faith and Culture, Scriptwriting, Documentary Filmmaking, Digital Video Production, Producing for Clients and Senior Capstone.
Kathy enjoys photography, gardening, entertaining, acting, music and creative worship. She lives in Upland with her husband John and their son Andrew.
Favorite music: Black gospel, 80s & 90's rock.
Favorite movies: Slumdog Millionaire, The Mission, Shawshank Redemption, Galaxy Quest, March of the Penguins, Amadeus.
What she's known for at Taylor: Decadent brownies, class sessions at the house, and an energetic teaching style.
