The Search for Sammy Morris
For all that researchers were able to discover about Samuel Morris, there was much that remained unclear about his early life -- even Morris himself was unsure of his actual birthday.
In the winter of 1988, an expedition to Liberia was formed to unlock the mysteries surrounding Morris' origins. Dr. Tim Kirkpatrick, professor emeritus at Taylor, and David Ryan '81, set out on a 12-day journey to explore and document the homeland of the man known to his people as Prince Kaboo.
