Dining Services FAQs

Who is required to have a meal plan?

All resident students are required to select either the 19 or 14 meal plan. However, all freshmen resident students are required to select the 19 meal plan for the first year. All off-campus students must select a minimum of the 10 or 7 meal plan. Changes in meal plans will only be permitted during the first week of the semester. No meal plan changes may be made after the end of the first week of classes.

I have special dietary needs or restrictions. Is there anything for me to eat?

Yes! We understand the diverse needs of the Taylor campus community and offer a variety of diet-conscious alternatives, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, and more. We encourage you to reach out to Beth Gotter, Resident Director to discuss further.

Do you have vegetarian / vegan options?

Yes! The DC and The Boren Center offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. You can also meet with our Chef to be sure your needs will be accommodated.

Can you get food to-go?

The Boren Center offers "to-go" dining while The DC offers a "Buffet-Style" dining experience.

Are the dining facilities open all day?

The DC is open from 7 am to 8 pm during the week, and 10:30 am to 8 pm on weekends, with different meal options offered throughout the day. The Boren Center is open from 10:50 to 10 pm during the week, Saturday from 12 pm to 10 pm, and closed on Sunday. You can find listed hours here.
