Student Jobs

Working on campus while you are a student at Taylor can provide far more than a paycheck. You’ll be rewarded with empowering experiences, networking opportunities, and a supportive community.

Good Work

In the beginning, God created Adam and Eve and gave them a job to do–to work the garden, fill the earth, and subdue it. It was always God’s good plan that we should work. Paul writes in Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

At Taylor, we want to follow God’s call to work and equip you for your post-graduate vocation inside and outside the classroom. The Good Work Initiative is a comprehensive student employment initiative to develop you professionally and equip managers to mentor students through on-campus employment opportunities. You’ll find many student employment opportunities that provide earning potential, build skills, and boost work experience.

Get Started

Student employment opportunities are posted on Handshake–an online job exploration portal and a one-stop-shop for interacting with the Calling and Career Office. You can use your Taylor email to create a Handshake account and login.

On Handshake, you can seek student employment, set appointments, and gather information about on-campus recruiters and CCO events. During Welcome Weekend, all new students will receive an orientation to Handshake and can interact in-person with offices and departments seeking to hire students for the upcoming year.
