What will Forensic Camp Be Like?

You’ll learn standard procedures required for carrying out an investigation as well as techniques for sample collection and analysis. The roles that biology, chemistry, and physics play in criminal investigations will be emphasized.

The week will culminate in a hands-on crime scene investigation project where you will demonstrate your understanding of each aspect of the crime scene investigation process. During this investigation, you will employ many of the skills they learned throughout the week. The camp will end with a mock press conference, where you will report on the progress/success of the investigation.

Faith in Action at Film Camp

Integrating faith and learning is foundational to Taylor’s educational philosophy. The study of forensic science highlights the truth that all things process both uniqueness and similarity. This will create a powerful framework for high school students to grapple with their own physical and spiritual identity and belonging.
