Hollywood Internship Program

Exceptional students with a passion for working and serving in the entertainment industry may apply to Taylor University’s Hollywood Internship Program (TUHIP). Film & Media Production majors are the most frequent participants, but other majors may also apply. Those accepted spend one semester of their junior or senior year in Los Angeles, learning what it means to thrive as a Christian in the entertainment industry.

Students have the opportunity to earn up to 16 credit hours. They complete two internships in their area of interest (cinematography, producing, directing, editing, writing, etc.) and take a course called “Inside the Entertainment Industry” taught by film industry professionals. Taylor’s program coordinator, Andrew Neel, also arranges special events and networking on a weekly basis.

Students are housed in dorm rooms at Providence Christian College in Pasadena.
