Events get underway Friday at 10:00 a.m., with chapel in the Odle Arena. The featured speaker is Pastor Scott Poling of Harvest Bible Chapel in Oswego, Ill. Poling is the father of current Taylor students Brynna and Grason Poling.
Parents are invited to attend class with their sons and daughters throughout the day on Friday as well. Events continue with a Harvest Banquet in the Hodson Dining Commons at 5:00 p.m. Additional Friday highlights include performances by the Taylor Chorale and Sounds choral ensembles and the Taylor Jazz Ensemble. Also scheduled are the women’s and men’s intramural flag football championship games.
Saturday highlights include a 5k race at 8:00 a.m., followed by a prayer brunch and greeting time with Taylor President and First Lady Dr. Gene and Marylou Habecker. The day will continue with a cardboard boat regatta and athletic events featuring the volleyball, baseball, men’s soccer and football teams. The evening features musical performances by the Adoration vocal ensemble and Taylor Ringers bell choir.
