Steve Amerson, Hasun Yoo Featured in Marion Philharmonic Concert

The Marion Philharmonic Orchestra will present Musical Postcards with guest artists Steve Amerson, tenor, and Hasun Yoo, violin. The concert is scheduled for 7:30 pm, Friday, October 20, in the Rediger Chapel/Auditorium and is presented in connection with the inauguration of Paul Lowell Haines, EdD, JD, as Taylor University's 31st president.

Amerson, known as America's Tenor, is a 1976 Taylor alumnus and will be performing Broadway classics. His career spans more than 40 years and his voice can be heard on more than 165 feature films, countless television shows, and commercials. 

Also the first movement of Tchaikovsky’s Concerto No. 1 in D Major will be performed by violinist and Taylor University junior Hasun Yoo, winner of last year's MPO Concerto/Aria Competition. 

Tickets will be available in advance at the Taylor University Music Office until 5:00 pm Friday, Oct. 20, or at the door.
