Meteorologist Examines El Nino’s Impact on Upcoming Winter

Meteorologist and Taylor University Adjunct Professor of Earth and Environmental Science Jason Berry will give a presentation titled How Will This Year’s El Nino Influence Weather in East-Central Indiana?
Berry spent four years on the air with ABC affiliates in Bowling Green, Ky., Erie, Pa., and The Weather Channel in Madison, Wis. He is now the lead meteorologist of his own company, StormTrackerWx.com, where he provides local forecasts to East Central Indiana and storm chase tours to Tornado Alley each spring.
Berry holds a degree from Ball State University in Operational Meteorology and Climatology, and he has achieved an Advanced Accreditation in Atmospheric Science from Penn State University. On the Taylor campus, Berry teaches ENS 270 Principles of Meteorology and Climatology.
The presentation will take place at 7:00 p.m. on November 17, in Room 109 of the Euler Science Complex on the Taylor campus. The public is invited to this free presentation.
