Taylor University’s 2018 Heritage Weekend, a time set aside to celebrate the legacy and mission of Taylor University with alumni and friends, will take place Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28.

The events begin with Friday’s annual Grandparents Day as dozens of grandparents of current Taylor University students come to campus. The schedule includes chapel at 10 am, in the Rediger Chapel/Auditorium, and continues throughout the day as grandparents visit classes, tour the campus and residence halls, and participate in a meet-and-greet reception with Taylor President Lowell Haines and his wife Sherry from 2:30-3:30 pm, in the LaRita Boren Campus Center. At 4 pm, in the Butz-Carruth Recital Hall, the Taylor Jazz Ensemble will perform. Grandparents Day concludes at 7:30 pm, with Mary Poppins, A Musical, presented in the Mitchell Theatre.

Heritage Weekend continues Saturday with softball and baseball games, along with private scholarship and donor events, again concluding at 7:30 pm, in Mitchell Theatre with Mary Poppins.
