I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in the Spring of 2016. I loved my college experience and particularly fell in love with Residence Life. I served in Carmin Hall which housed freshmen through senior women similar to English Hall! I majored in Elementary Education. I enjoyed the development that took place in the elementary classroom, but I loved the development that took place in college students through their four years. All of my experiences in college led me to pursue a masters in Higher Education.
It is an honor to be a part of the MAHE program here at Taylor University. What truly makes my graduate experience is the opportunity to serve as the Graduate Assistant in English Hall. The residence hall is where my heart is.
The Lord has laid on my heart the importance of being known by our community in order to develop into who we are created to be. It is a blessing to live among peers. I am beyond blessed to be a part of the Taylor community and especially to be a part of English Hall. My prayer is that we will strive to be known by our sisters in Christ which frees us to be audacious women for the Lord.
