Being born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, I have to admit that I didn't see many cornfields growing up. In fact, I was actually allergic to corn when I was younger, so I think it's fair to say that my younger self probably never would have imagined that one day I'd be working and studying at Taylor in the cornfields of Indiana. Thankfully, God has a sense of humor - and luckily enough I am now able to eat corn (phew!).
Before arriving in Upland, I graduated from Messiah College in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with a degree in Marketing. While at Messiah, I was involved in numerous co-curricular activities that shaped me in many powerful ways. More importantly, though, I was also able to make lifelong friends, experience true community on my residence hall floors, grow through personal challenges, learn from some amazing mentors (many of whom were not-so-coincidentally Taylor grads), and deepen my relationship with Christ.
Now, in my role as Assistant Hall Director, I couldn't be more excited for the opportunity to live, learn, and grow with the men in Wengatz Hall. It is my hope that Wengatz will be a place where men are able to encourage one another, challenge each other, and grow together in Christ. God has a plan for each of the men living in Wengatz, and I am humbled and honored to walk along side of them as we do life and seek Him together.
